June 1st, 2018 | Key West Events & Festivals

Fantasy Fest 2018 is already in the works, with event planners busy updating the schedule for the event, set for Oct. 19-28 this year.

The theme? "Oh...The Games We Play!"

The season of Fantasy Fest may seem far into the distance, but the week of events draws 75,000 revelers to the Key West, which is less than 7.5 sq miles.

We offer shuttle services, activities at our Sunset Green Event Lawn, and food truck and bar amenities all within steps of our pool. If you’re looking to enjoy Fantasy Fest but you also want a refuge from Old Town during your stay, choose The Gates Hotel Key West. Check out our best available rates, available only on our website.

This year’s Fantasy Fest will include all the standard activities, such as TuTu Tuesday, the Headdress Ball, the Royal Coronation; plus the real whacky events, such as the dog costume competitions and smallest parade in the universe, to name a few.

The all-inclusive Fantasy Fest insures that all ages partake in the fun. Families enjoy the kickoff to Fantasy Fest every year with the Bahama Village Goombay Festival, a family-friendly street party that celebrates the rich music, food, dance and cultures of the area’s Caribbean heritage.

The Fantasy Fest Street Fair is planned for Oct. 26-27 this year, all leading up the main event: the Bud Light Fantasy Fest Parade, which draws national attention for its competitive floats, costumes, and overall showmanship on the world-renowned Duval Street.
